About Us


We are the Purdue Chapter, formally known as the “Mother Chapter”, of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE). As a student-managed and non-profit STEM organization, our primary mission is to “increase the number of culturally responsible black engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact the community." Each year, we enact on our mission by providing professional, academic, social and community outreach opportunities to help our members reach their absolute potential as a student, leader and engineer.
2025-2026 Chapter Goals
Our 2025-2026 chapter goals are primarily based on our chapter directives, which aim to work towards a S.P.A.R.K. future for Purdue NSBE.
Support our membership amid uncertainty in future programming, scholarship funding, and changing student needs
